Dog Portrait Painter
Hello!
My name is Camille Benoit and I am a classically trained artist who just happens to love painting dogs.
I am a graduate of Saint Olaf College (B.A. Fine Art) and I have studied classical realism both at The Atelier and with artist Joe Paquet (St. Paul, MN.) for the last 15+ years.
Being a huge animal lover myself, I find myself drawn to animals as frequent subjects of my oil paintings. I think the best portraits capture their personalities in their natural environments – whether that be around the home, with their favorite toy, or out in nature.
2018 is my year! I'm formally taking on building my portfolio of animal portraiture work, and I will begin accepting commissions!
